She is a senior artist in the All India Radio having performed with them for over 35 years
from Trichirapalli, Chennai and Bangalore stations. The artist has also performed for the
Television network of India.
CEEI TV, UK presented her with an interview in 2002 sharing her experiences as senior artist
and the torch bearer of the Alathur style. This was telecast all over the UK, Europe and the
Middle-East. Mrs. Sudaresan conducts a weekly feature in Sangeetha Saram Program on the
CEEI TV, UK on Classical Carnatic Music.
Deepam TV presented her in a phone-in interview in 2002 which had an outstanding response
from viewers from all over the UK and Europe. This was also telecast in the Middle-East.
Jaya TV, Chennai presented her interview in the Kaalai Malar in December 2003, where she
spoke on her experiences as a Carnatic Musician living in the UK and also demonstrated the
depths of the Alathur style.
CEEI TV, UK commenced their New Year program for January 1, 2004 with a studio concert
of Mrs. Sarojini Sundaresan and Mrs. Leela Rammohan Rao, which was telecasted all over
UK, Europe and the Middle East.
National Public Radio, USA interviewed Mrs. Sarojini Sundaresan and Mrs. Leela
Rammohan Rao in the month of Febraury 2004 on the nuances of Carnatic Music with a
special emphasis on the Alathur Style.
